An Agricultural Testament

Sir Alber Howrad, author of An Agricultural Testament and founder of the India science Congress, came to India as an imperial economic botanist to train Indian peasants in the art and science of chemical agriculture. He ended up learning organic farming from the peasants instead, treating them with respect as his professors.

 

Incorporating Howard's own detailed experiments with organic farming, An Agricultural Testament was written to draw attention to the destruction of the soil. modern agricultureal research, Howard Wrote, hastaught the farmer to profiteer at the expense of posterity.
