The study was first published in 1908 by The Bombay Natural History Society, reprinted several times and is now republished by Pilgrims Publishing. The book discusses kraits, cobras, vipers, sea snakes and coral snakes. It also discusses snakebites and treatment for snake poison. The cases discussed are however over a 100 years old. Symptoms and treatment administered are given in minute details.
